The Republic and the Separatists, as well as the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire, are pitted against each other in this video game. The former option features a series of “historical” conflicts based on the Star Wars mythos, while the latter style challenges players to compete for supremacy over particular planets.
There are three main game modes available to play: Historical Campaign, Conquest, and Instant Action. The gameplay is built on the successful standards established by Battlefield 1942 however, the action in Battlefront is far more large and heated, vehicles play a more prominent role, and recognizable starships are also present.
This is the first time in the history of gaming that this opportunity has been made available. After countless games depicting various aspects of the expansive Star Wars universe (including some we never wanted to see), players now have the opportunity to step into the boots of the average soldier during the wars that raged across the galaxy.
